COURSE LEADERS

Brett Leighton, Linz (Austria) Of Australian origin, Brett studied in Sydney with David Rumsey, in Vienna with M. Radulescu, in Basel with J.C. Zehnder and in Amsterdam with Ton Koopman. In 1979 he obtained first prize in the Paul Hofhaimer organ competition of Innsbruck and since then has developed an intense activity as a concert player and teacher in Europe, the United States, Japan, Mexico and Australia. He is presently a teacher of organ and harpsichord at the Linz Conservatory and the Hochschule of Vienna.

Andrés Cea Galán, Seville (Spain) Andrés completed his studies as an organist in Spain, and has attended the organ classes of Jean Boyer at the Conservatory of Lille (France) and those of J.C. Zehnder at the Schola Cantorum of Basel. His innovative vision of the history, technique and aesthetics of the Spanish organ and of its music, as exemplified in diverse publications and recordings, has led him to be frequently invited as a teacher, concert player and lecturer by academic institutions and festivals at the international level.
